Objective announces new Business Travel Safety Awareness Course
Business Travel Safety Awareness Courses provide confidence, knowledge and essential skills needed to stay safe when abroad,
as well as delivering duty of care obligations for companies.
Objective Travel Safety have recently increased their portfolio by launching new Open Group Business Travel Safety Awareness courses ideal for SMEs, educational bodies and companies with a limited number of people needing business travel safety advice.
The courses provide all the essential information for the Business Traveller on travel safety in a one-day interactive, informative course and spaces can be booked on an individual basis.
The course topics include:
- Situation awareness: 'how to think on your feet'.
- Pre-travel advice; insurance, vaccinations, disease, emergency contacts etc.
- Travel gadgets and essential kit.
- Religious, Cultural and Environmental considerations.
- Gender safety.
- How to avoid becoming the victim of common crime.
- Theft avoidance & security of possessions.
- Handling difficult situations; muggings, defusing confrontation.
- Security on the move; airports, taxis and public transport.
- Hotel and accommodation security.
- Terrorism and ballistic awareness.
- Kidnap prevention and action if taken.
The new training courses will be held at the King’s Court Hotel, Alcester, Near Birmingham, B49 5QQ, UK. Cost: £155 per person inc. VAT.
The next course is on Friday 13th September 2019.
An alternative to the newly launched open courses are Objective Travel Safety’s existing, acclaimed in-house Travel Safety courses, where the course content is delivered at company premises. Offering a choice of either a half-day or full-day interactive sessions, ensuring organisations keep their employees informed and keep safe when overseas.
The course will be tailored to the countries that staff will be visiting in preparation for a safe journey. Businesses simply need to provide a meeting room and leave rest to our fully trained and experienced trainers.
